NTSCGECWOEU Medium-Voltage Shearer Power Cable Application
NTSCGECWOEU Medium-Voltage Shearer Power Cable is used for the connection of mobile electrical equipment in underground mines, e.g. for coal-cutting machines, especially for the use in cable and hose guidance(bretby) chains with extreme bending loads under low tensile stress.
NTSCGECWOEU is designed for the connection of electrical equipment, in mines and underground excavations with hazardous environments under particularly high mechanical loads, e.g.high-voltage transformers on power lines in underground mining and tunneling.
The flexibility of the cable allows operating equipment to be moved while running. The phase-concentric earth conductor and the common concentric monitoring shield,e.g. in conjunction with a high-voltage protection circuit, make it possible to monitor the cable for insulation faults and damage resulting from external influences.
These shearer power cables are used in underground mines as well as in tunnels if monitoring of outer damages is required. The robust construction allows the cable to be used on mobile equipment, on energy lines, as well as for occasional reeling.

System1 (1.8/3kV or 3.6/6kV) | Flexible stranded tinned copper conductor with heat resistant3GI3 rubber based on EPR, fiberglass and easy strippable outer conductive layer. |

Center Bundle | Control and pilot cores with copper/steel conductors capable of expansion and compression, EPR insulation, semi-conductive optional with fiber optics, covered with a semi-conductive rubber sheath. |

Armour | Spiral of steel wires, embedded in the outer sheath, a tape which prevents sheath exchanging. |
