These NSSHKCGEOEU cables are intended for the connection of mobile machines under very high mechanical loads, predominantly for mining applications, e.g. for coal cutting machines, particularly suitable for extreme bending loads under low tensile stress.

NSSHKCGEOEU Coal Cutter Cable 0.6/1KV Application

These NSSHKCGEOEU cables are intended for the connection of mobile machines under very high mechanical loads, predominantly for mining applications, e.g. for coal cutting machines, particularly suitable for extreme bending loads under low tensile stress.

This NSSHKCGEOEU cable is used as a power supply connection cable for mobile equipment in underground machine applications, such as coal shearer, road header, TBM`s, or scoops (LHDs). (Z)-Coal-Cutter cables are designed for free trailing operation and due to their special construction may be trailed for considerable distances behind the machine during operation.

The cable complies with the requirements of the Draft DIN VDE Test Standard 0472 Part 818 “Behaviour under Squeezing Stress”. It ensures that damage caused by squeezing is detected as earth faults with the highest possible reliability.

These NSSHKCGEOEU cables comply with DIN VDE 0250 part 812 Standards.

Conductor Particularly fine stranded copper conductor, tinned, Class 5 (refer also to DIN VDE 0295)
Separator Polyester tape
Insulation: heat-resistant Compound 3GI3 rubber compound on EPR basis with particularly high mechanical strength, colored
Pilot core copper/steel conductors capable of expansion and compression and insulating covering of EPR basis 3GI3.
Core arrangement Three main cores laid-up, with double-concentric control/monitoring conductor elements in the outer interstice; length of lay approx. 6 x D
Inner sheath Vulcanized rubber inner sheath; basic material EPR, compound type: GM1b
Reinforcement/Armoring Steel wire braid
Outer sheath basic material PCP, compound type: 5GM5, color yellow, abrasion, and tear resistant, oil resistant and flame retardant
