NYCY PVC SCREENED PVC 0.6/1KV POWER CABLE APPLICATION
NYCY cable is insulated, bound and sheathed in Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), for use as a fixed wiring cable in installations indoors, in cable ducts, outdoors, and in-ground. It is used for power plants, industrial plants, and in local power networks, particularly if increased mechanical and electrical protection is required. It has a UV and water-resistant outer sheath.
Distribution and signalling power cable for static outdoor application (with protection against direct UV-irradiation), in-ground, in water, within facilities, in cable canals, in concrete, in conditions requiring increased electric protection and protection against mechanical damages. Used in electric power plants, transformer stations, industrial plants, metropolitan networks and other electric plants and for connection of signalling devices in industry, traffic and similar. The concentric conductor can be used as neutral, protective or earth connection, and if there is a danger of damages caused by digging, it acts as protection against contact voltage in case of rough insulation damage.
